Brain damage? That’s your run of the mill negro
Bolivion!
For many fighters is the mentality they need to have. I mean they really need to have it. They have to have a delusional level of faith in their abilities and thats why for some how they made it to the mountain top.
Anything else then “I’m the best” is when the faith in their own ability starts to crumble. I mean think about how any times we hear about some past his prime fighter needing to be told that they need to retire. A good example was Brendan Schaub thinking he could out wrestle Cain and Joe had to be honest with him.
Not every fighter is like that but so many are. They are better off thinking that way. It’s not even unique to the sport. In the NFL world Tom Brady recently said he felt like he could still play and many crowned him for thinking a dude who has been retired as long as he has and was declining when he left legit thinks he can still play today.
I know what you mean but I don’t necessarily think that sort of thinking is good for all fighters
It may work for some but you have to be honest about yourself and skill set or it will be really hard for you to get better. If you lie to yourself about why you lost make an excuse you’re gonna show up to the rematch thinking you don’t need to change anything.
I think it benefitted Wilder until the 2nd Fury fight and after that it has hurt him.
What led you to the dance isn’t necessarily what’ll keep you there.
Wilder is gamer through and through and is a super tough motherfucker so I’ll always respect him for that. Never quits on himself and always gives himself a chance to win.
Why did the interviewer (Piers) make that face at the end ?
Oh yeah definitely not all fighters. GSP was always talking about his self doubt. It works to keep some guys sharp.
To each there own so I don’t judge the ways fighter go about processing wins and loses if the pursuit is to win. Some guys can’t handle a lose and thats for both guys who have delusional self belief and guys who have seld doubt.
Wasn’t there a pretty good argument that he should have won the first Fury fight? I remember watching Rogan or someone going over how incredibly slow the count was when Fury got knocked down, and he was given like 11-12 seconds in reality.
I felt like it was long aswell but that is boxing. Happens more often than it should. If we had a standard 10 sec auto clock or something a lot of fighters records would be very different. Harder to cheat an auto clock though so the dirty money would never allow it. Not saying cheating went on there in that fight but I felt that count was slow.
He still needs to fight AJ. I think I’d take Deontay. AJ’s chin ain’t what Fury brings to the table. And with Wilder’s sleeper hands… GOOD NIGHT!
Wilder vs N’gannou

Fury was taking over again by the end of that same round. Wilder won maybe 3 rounds of the whole fight and that was vs a Fury who had only been out of retirement for like 6 months. Wilder got plenty of opportunity to put things right with the rematches too but had years taken off of his life and his few remaining brain cells destroyed instead.
Honestly I think Wilder is just not very good and as a result made Fury look a lot better than he really is. Fury has basically lived off of that trilogy ever since.
He is easily still better than half of the starting quarterbacks
Look at ass qbs like fields and jj lol
Video Summary (from the X post by @_willcompton_willcompton**):**
This is a ~66-second clip from an interview on Piers Morgan’s show. Boxer Deontay Wilder (wearing a black “KING OF GOD’S” hoodie and glasses) casually recounts a story about one of his ex-partners who allegedly tried to trap him into having a baby.
Key points he describes:
-
During sex, he usually finished on her stomach and wiped it off with a towel he kept by the bed.
-
This time, after he ejaculated on her stomach, she physically stopped him from wiping it off (he says she “hit my hand so hard I thought she hit my hand like a home run”).
-
She then ran to the bathroom, locked the door, and used his semen to get pregnant (“ejected my sperm in her”).
-
He says her mother was in on the setup, and he only found out later by secretly reading her journal (which she doesn’t know about).
-
He claims their relationship was short-lived because she was “promiscuous,” but she wanted a baby by him because he was “the best thing that ever came into her life.”
The clip ends with a shot of Piers Morgan looking stunned/speechless.
Will Compton’s post caption perfectly captures the reaction: “What in gods name did I just listen to.” The story is wild, explicit, and delivered in a very matter-of-fact tone, which is why it went viral.
Many commenters joke that Wilder (or men in general) should have done what Drake allegedly does — pouring hot sauce in the condom (or on the semen) afterward to deter anyone from trying to “steal” it and use it for pregnancy. It’s a recurring meme in the replies, but it wasn’t part of Wilder’s own telling.
Yea, but isn’t Drake doing that because he likes the flavour?
Whoever posted the link for the third fight, anyone got a link to the second? Tyson really fucked him up there
Sure, but contrary to what Redditers will tell you men can’t get pregnant
Was poised to snark for a sec then realized and then was like awww drat damn you!
