Just got Star Wars Outlaws.
I know everyone has to hate on Ubisoft but I love the Assassin’s Creed series.
I enjoyed Bethesda’s Starfield for what it was, an open-worldy Star Wars game with some sweet looking towns and environments is enough to keep me entertained for.a single play through at least.

I have a damn indentation on my forehead from my quest 3 playing Alyx for hours… The real world looks fake and a bit blurry like I need to upgrade my brains video card.

However woke that game is, it can’t beat the DLC for Steelrising.
In a game about magic puppet robots that fight real historical figures from the French Revolution, they crowbar in not one but two DEI storylines - one about the effort to free all the slaves in France (that goes on and on and on about how badly black people are treated in Europe) and one about a woman who wants to make an all-female regiment to be part of the French army (with the given excuse that “anything men can do in fighting, women can do as well or better!”). I wish I were making this up 
Game was reasonably fun prior to that. B, maybe B- given that it gets repetitive at the 3/4 mark since no new enemies come in from that point.

This pleases me greatly. Even if it wasn’t woke (which it is, severely), I’d still be happy it failed because it was such an incredibly stupid idea, and stupid people deserve to lose their money.
Reminds me of how when WoW came out, everyone and their mother sank countless millions into their own company’s MMO game and got destroyed for their hubris. They never realized that those games are ONGOING and people will typically play only one at a time, so if you’re going to get market share, you need to be better than the big dog in the room…. and 95%+ of them weren’t a pimple on WoW’s ass.
Same thing now - there are 3-4 solid team shooters out there each with massive fan bases, and if you think you’re going to break into that market and steal those fans away, you better have an absolutely stellar product instead of a soulless woke cash grab.
Playing diablo immortal but i’m getting sick of it. May fire up Days Gone again or maybe skyrim.
I downloaded Wukong black whatever it is and I am not really impressed. all that running around is silly. The main character gives me jar jar binks vibes. Very annoying.
