Mods have fallen back on suspending for spam/trolling

Egregious spam is against the rules and has been listed for a while now.

Not sure what you mean. Most of our mod intervention has been to stop stalkers/harassers from following posters around. We don’t like to suspend/ban, so usually this is in the form of DMs. Most people are reasonable and will stop. Plenty of users have insulted me or other mods. That’s to be expected and is no problem. There’s definitely no special treatment of any group. Diddy’s suspension WAS an exception to the set rules, because he was creating strife while a grieving widow was looking at…

No normal poster ever needs to worry about getting banned for “not knowing the rules.”
It has literally never happened.
