Nah. They didn’t like me. I was running the event security for their promotion at Tower Records and weren’t fans of rules. We had just had Korn a few weeks earlier and they were some of the easiest groups to deal with so maybe our expectations were too high. They (Deftones) played at our company party later that year and were pretty much the same.

The original was released in 1984. The cover by the Deftones was recorded in 2006. That’s a 22 year gap. 2006 was 19 years ago.
