Typically the leadership stays solid whether you have a dem or a republican administration. However, with hegseth at the helm we definitely have a weakness. Not to mention with Trump running his mouth to Putin. The generals definitely hate that. As far as raw power though, nothing compares.
USA did nearly all the damage to the japs in ww2. Russia barely engaged with them.
