Why no difference between KO and TKO on record?

Doesn’t seem right that something like say Silva snapping his leg and Holloway crumpling Gaethje both count as a KO on a persons record.

There’s also a difference between not intelligently defending yourself and then there’s incapable of defending yourself and yet both go on the record as a KO.

While I agree that there should be a distinction…
