once he was cornering almeida (who held guillotine seconds beyond the tap) and marquardt hit him after the fight was stoppedā€¦ renzo kicked him in the face

yeah I was in a band with a Brazilian drummerā€¦SUPER chill dudeā€¦then I did something to piss him off one time in a van riding home from a gig..MAN the death stare I got. Then the next day I apologized and he was back to the Itā€™s All Good Manā€¦person, lol.

Paulson was only in it, because Chad Stahelski (training partner of Paulson) the man who went on to direct John Wick , had a stuntman job coming up the following week , so Paulson took his place.

Yep thatā€™s him. I just read the various letters Bozetepe sent to the Gracieā€™s and then I watched footage of Emin - he would have lost badly to Royce .. I think Rorion would beat him too .. but yeah, Boztepe seemed very confident when he wrote his letters

Great event .. Didnā€™t get to watch it live. My older brother had coworker that watched it and mad a vhs copy. The only thing I didnā€™t like was the stupid striker bracket

Another Ratt mma event that rarely gets talked about was MARS - Martial Arts Reality Superfighting.. it had an 8 man tpurnament with Bustsmante and Tom Erickson and a super fight between Oleg Taktarov and Renzo Gracie .. this was a fight I was hyped for - a true battle between 2 great grapplers and Renzo knocks him out with an upkick :upside_down_face::upside_down_face:

Oh, yeah, MARS was pretty cool. Though the Bustamante-Erikson was frustrating because Erikson refused to go to the ground with him. They finally had to call it a draw.
