I went to a Yankees / Blue Jays game Friday and Iā€™ll tell you this:

Yankees fans are disgusting. They Boo the National Anthym of Canada. They Boo when Guerrero hit a homer. Then when they start losing, they Boo their own players!

I didnā€™t wear any team jersey and being in the stadium made my skin crawl. Everyone was hostile and angry. It was a miserable experience.

It was also by far the worse baseball stadium iā€™d been too. Everything in the stadium is clinical and geared to make as much money as possible. Fans are crammed in every open space. Yankees merch every 10 steps and non stop food and booze vendors. The stadium had 0 personality. I would never go there again.

In contrast, I went to a Mets / Phillies game on Wednesday at Citi Field. Cool stadium. Open air areas for kids to play and practice ball skills. Bridge across the outfield area. The Jackie Robinson rotunda was really cool area. The fans were awesome and were just out there to have a good time. I would go there again.

Yankees are playing well above what a lot of people were saying when they lost Soto and Cole and Gil hurt. Grisham has been amazing and is now an every day player. Ben Arroz is crushing it. Goldschmidt is playing like an all star. Aaron Judge is on another level. and Max Fried is the best pitcher in baseball right now.

Best part is Boston is terrible.
