2024 Weight Loss Thread

For those on the original thread (or any others that want to join) I will get the full year of data posted here.

I took screen shots for all of last week’s data. Will update the spreadsheet with that and all future data.

I’ll consolidate between here and TMMAC in case anybody is at one and not the other to make sure as many as possible get their full year of data captured.

Weigh-ins for next week begin on Monday, please post them here.

I wasn’t in the original thread, but I’ve lost about 30 lbs since the beginning of the year.

Just changing my eating habits. Unfortunately not working out yet.

If you’re interested, i was thinking I’d do a 2025 fitness goals thread (to catch everyone planning to lose weight, improve BF%, new PRs, etc).

Dude… I think I was the second guy to make my target weight early this year.

I got injured in training and got fat this summer. At the end of this month (one more vacation!), I’m gonna join in again at a higher starting weight than I had earlier this year haha. I’m looking forward to the fat shaming. I thrive on it, fat fuck that I am.

Thanks for doing this again. You’re the man.

Shit happens. I’m also up from where i was earlier this year. There will be no shaming.

But I’m looking forward to seeing your progress for the last 4 months of the year, you fat disappointment.

I’m at 184.1 currently.

I have found the equilibrium of fat loss and muscle growth. Also found a way to add creatine without getting backed up, so I’ve added a little water weight too. Feeling real good right now about everything.

I’m going to be in it because I just keep getting fatter lol

Nice work!!

Sunday starts extra focus in the kitchen. I’ve plateaued in the 183-186 range. Just bouncing back and forth. I go to Cabo in a month and want to be shredded and dominate two ladies. :yum:

Anyone have nutrition and meal planning advice on a one month cut?

One month of carnivore!

Is it as simple as only eat meat?

Yep - and supplement a few key vitamins like magnesium and potassium.

Alright. I’m in. First meal down was leftover pulled pork that I mixed scrambled eggs into, I had bacon and sausage with it.

I did have a protein shake after I worked out this morning and will continue that; during workout I have creatine and I mix in an electrolyte powder (the one recommended in the fasting thread). So I think the whey protein will be my only transgression.

Whey protein is ok if no carbs in it and not mixed with carbs

Some guys here have done long term carnivore and had great results. I wemt carnivore for a week once and lost 7 pounds. I was also getting tons of exercise.

I haven’t posted on the old thread but I will chime in here. I weighed in on Friday at the lowest I have weighed in my adult life. Going to shoot for another 5-10.

Damn, that’s a great milestone! Well done!

Thank you sir. I have lost a total of 163 pounds in the last 17 years. I am pretty close to the bottom of my weightloss journey and now I need to deal with the side effects. I consulted with a plastic surgeon on Thursday and am scheduled for a torsoectomy (extended tummy tuck) on Dec 6. So I have about 2 months to really kick it in gear and get a lean as I can while not losing muscle mass.
