as long as that is in effect he would not be allowed to compete in any USAW event… that would mean no Final X…
i will say…
it is a bit amusing to me on who gets hit with safe sport and who does not…
it seems mostly to center around whether USAW can sweep it under the rug or not…
ESPN front page and TMZ body cams mean they absolutely cannot…

absolutely they can…
it is a temporary suspension currently…
every USAW card holder has to go through a background check and safe sport training every two years…
when you buy that card you agree to a certain level of conduct…
I’ve bought the cards for my kid for years but I’ve never had to read the fine print lol
It makes sense, every other league suspends athletes for criminal activity and excludes from competition.
I just wasnt sure if it was different with this sport that has individual athletes that arent part of a year-round sport team and that extra scrutiny.

i can not say with any certainty he is the first to get suspended for hookeritis…
the only athlete suspension i can personally recall for non drug/ped related stuff was PD3…
one of PD3’s rants this morning has been about how he was targeted by USAW and FLO and lost all of his stipends and sponsorships because he shared his opinion on the googlewebs…
he is not wrong, but…
anyone with some self awareness would not have gone on his rants knowing what would happen…

I mean if he becomes a convicted sex offender he should or will be banned from being around kids to a certain extent.
I have pals on the prosecutor side of things who have said the use and application of that term has been extended a bit far.

I do like the way he wrestles…
It is hard for me to see past Carr in that bracket…
I also don’t see Bassett being a huge factor in that bracket… but I’m going to watch it…

His PIN rating is higher than anyone else in the bracket…
PIN rating takes into effect all your past performances…
I can’t say exactly how it is formulated but it rewards activity… all these young guys wrestle a ton of matches… I think it rewards the younger guys schedules over the older competitors who just do not wrestle as many matches…
the google webs tells me caliendo wrestled the real styles for one season in HS 2019 under Izzy… 1st free and 2nd greco…
he has no real relevant experience in free…

when Otto was in Iowa there was talk of him helping the recruiting of those brothers with the greco angle, but, sadly that did not work out…
it is endlessly amusing to me reading what forum nerds think is a proper greco training situation… i can tell you from personal experience not one D1 program has it…
DT definitely has a decent lightweight room being built… too bad he and gilman could not make it work…
the prevailing wisdon was that Iowa was the leading school for them until very recently…

They said they knew DT fairly well.
