their codes say that pleading to a lesser charge does not stop them from ruling on the original beef… and Safe Sport has been criticized heavily for very light sentencing on coaches and others “inside” the org…

USAW has also in the past refused to follow up on some safesport reports on prominent figures for fear of embarrasments and possible lawsuits…
again… it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out…

blaze and young only first round match at 65…
the young and black family used to be chums back in the day in oklahoma… they were responsible for getting to try Greco the first time waaaaaay back in OK…
i don’t suspect blaze will be challenged too much…

zillmer back down to 97kg is interesting to me just based on that dude has been all over the weight classes and styles and is a true gamer… don’t know him at all but i do like that he shows up and balls out everytime regardless of final results…

blaze definitely a little small for 65kg
carter gets a quick slide by and to a lace… up 4-0 early
blaze adjusting to the size difference…
gets a step out with 30 left in the first…
4-1 at the break…
crazy scramble by blaze… and gets a 2 on the edge… 4-3 2 minutes left…
blaze outside step and gets the leg up in the air carte tries to bail out of it and gives up 4… 7-4 blaze… minute left
blaze in full defense mode… crater ups the pace and dives in on a bad shot… blaze gets behind for another 2 right as time expires…
9-4 final…
was actually pretty shocked how small blaze looked at 65kg… he has no business being at this weight at all, but, damn he is so technically precise he could cause problems for any but the absolute tip of the spear…
