How was their Greco commentary?
their “commentary” was predictably awful…
but none of them are much better at it during leg grabbing…
but i do not necessarily blame them for that as they are not broadcasters… just nerd content creators…
good commentators actually spend time learning who the competitors are or at the very least learn the actual rules, but, flo nerds are not going to bother to do that…

thomasello and RBY maybe the only “competitive” match… it shouldn’t be but NATO style can stymie anyone and he is just a fukn fire hydrant…
i would love the see PDIII in shape and motivated, but, he might not need to be against varner… varner is 40 and has not competed in 10 years…
PDIII is one of the biggest what ifs in wrestling the last 15 years… insanely talented but just too wild in his every day life… some of the stories i have heard are pretty crazy… i know he is despised throughout the majority of wrestling “fan” base, but, i he is a loveable fuk up to me…

Makoev is not a total punk but can’t see him being on Dake’s current level… makoev has wrestled at 92kg, so, he will be much bigger than dake… i just can not see it mattering…
Carr and Reda i can not see being competitive… Reda has never done anything outside of african continentals…
parris and romanov doesn’t tell us anything… romanov has made some teams for moldova with a best finish of bronze at univiersities in 2016… he was on the UFC roster through 2024… he signed with PFL this year… the only reason i know any of this is thanks to the googlewebs… just is not an interesting matchup at all after snyder withdrew…
interesting side note, snyder’s name has been linked with some wrestling tourney that khabib is trying to put on… haven’t looked too much into it and only seen a few nerds commenting on it…
maroulis and stewart i can not imagine being competitive… maroulis still winning gold medals and stewart has not ever… but maroulis is still worth watching in any match because she does some crazy stuff with the trips and back heel traps… plus, she is a cutie pie and that does not hurt…
sadly, the youtubers will be the most “watched” match… henschel destroyed this jimison cat last year in a match that i just watched a highlight of recently after the match was announced and i had no clue who the hell jimison was/is…
henschel is a pretty decent wrestler and was competitive in DII and seems like a decent genuine guy by what i can tell from his the few vids i watched… jimison was a below average wrestler in MO during HS… but, they both have more subs than everyone else put together so this is what we get to see…
again, not super interested in this card, but, i did get hit with the yearly fox nation sub so no matter what i will be watching…

After all the silly shenanigans that have gone on with the Bassett promotions it feels a little odd…
And lots of assumptions could be made…
But I think everyone can agree that the package deal of the entire family was going to be hard for any of the big programs and the big coaches to want to deal with…

I’m more shocked a human can do that, like that.
Some of that looked like legitimate sorcery.
The speed, given how low he was to the ground.. the explosive power, the ability to penetrate using either leg. Most wrestlers can’t at all. And some are taught not to try. The range this kid can cover.
Supposedly a state and national champ at 15.
I’ll pay attention to Chris Creason’s future. I am a bit suspicious of this kind of training hurting his longevity in the sport.
Landing one one footed flips is just asking to get injured…
As to the rest of the gimmicks, meh…
I have never heard of this kid, which, is not surprising as if a kid doesn’t wrestle USAW and do well I am not going to ever see them anymore…
Flo tells me went 2-4 at elite 8 duals couple of weeks ago…
There are a very select few HS tourneys I would consider worthy of calling a win a “national champion”… tons of tourneys that claim it…
