Alex forced him to switch stances after one calf kick, Ank forced Alex to back up the entire first fight. Ank is an absolute killer himself he’ll be back, if he can get two W’s together against let’s say Jiri and another contender then I’d like to see a third fight between them. If Alex is still fighting at that point.
Ank wasn’t 100% this fight. He’ll be back
Love Alex, don’t love idea of him going to HW
Esp if he’s put straight to top of the pile and faces Jones or Tom
They’d both annihilate him IMO
Man was this great to watch live. My favorite fight in the past five years.
Jones might. Still want to see it. We have about 18 months or so where that fight is still a possibility.
“Absolute killer”
Is apparently code for lay on some dudes to a UD, then go 0-12 take downs against the champ who’s not even a wrestler.
Screen name does not check out.
I fucking hate that twitter account so much that guy is the biggest dick sucker on planet earth
Oh it sure does, I mean he KO’d the most shot fighter the UFC has, after using an illegal Knee in the fight before that
Any man who survives Jan and beats Alex up is a killer.
Just saying, the people who thinks killer means you never win by decision tend to be noobish.
His fights are boring, he didn’t beat up Alex by laying on him against the cage in a boring fight, and he got taken down himself.
half his fights go to the judges and that’s including a lot of lower level non UFC fights, and against guys who were toward the top in the UFC 7-8+ years ago. it’s one thing when you’re fighting the top all the time, it’s another when it’s guys on the way out and lesser fighters
Jones racked up a bunch of decisions here and there but those guys were trying for their life to be “the guy” who pulls off the miracle. He still bodied a lot of big names at a Much higher level
Compared to the other greats at 205 that have come and gone, Ank is hardly a killer. I know you’re a grappling super fan, but let’s be honest, he’s another boring ass wall N stall guy that will absolutely be forgotten in a few years.
When I think killer, I think Shogun, not Kristoff Jotko. I think Glover, Rampage etc, not Charlie Brenamen
Enson did the same against Igor.
It was moderately successful for the first 15 seconds of the fight.
Alex looked beat up after the fight.
I get what you’re saying, it’s a nebulous term that has a different meaning to every person.
Cagework is exhausting and technical. I appreciate seeing it done well.
It is, but it’s hard to put a grind type fighter in the “killer” category. When I think Killer I think Jones throwing dudes on their head, Wanderlei murdering somebody, Fedor, CroCop, I don’t think Dominick Cruz, and most people wouldn’t.
Winner and “good fighter” isn’t the same as killer. Some of these guys can lose or win a decision and make the other person look like they went through a cheese grader, some Can win and barely do any damage
lol I don’t know who he is but I’ll occasionally see his posts on my feed. Don’t know anything about him
Dude yes. One of the most exciting fights in years. I was anticipating it all night, and was on pins and needles, my head nearly exploded when Alex had him on the fence. I truly couldn’t believe my eyes when the knockout happened. Still gives me chills thinking about it. I screamed at the TV “YES! and collapsed to the floor out of relief. Insane moment. I love fighting.

Under the right circumstances just as planned
He was very worried about the left
Oldest trick in the book
Rubber match. The only way to decide this rivalry once and for all, lol.
