Was a good podcast. I get his point about the OG not being able to continue as it was, and I do believe that he didn’t plan on doing that when they took over. I believe him when he says that they just didn’t realize what it had become.
Sorry I left a comment saying he should dump the UG db if they are going to kill it. I wasn’t trying to be a dick. I went back after finishing the podcast to edit and soften it and saw you had deleted it lol.
I do still think they old posts should exist somewhere, it could easily be done in a way that it isn’t affiliated with their publicly traded company but the historical document still exists. Hell, I’d post it if someone has a dump of the db. I’m sure it exists somewhere.

Yeah I just said something like “If the UG is dead, he should try to get them to dump the db so it can be preserved for posterity.” Probably within like 10 minutes of you posting the video, I happened to open youtube shortly after you posted it.
I just assumed you didn’t want the comments to devolve into an OG shit storm. After I finished the podcast and heard the part about the OG, I went to edit the comment to just add “I get why it couldn’t go on the way it was” but it got an error from the edit function saying requested resource doesn’t exist, when I refreshed it was gone.
Weird it got axed, it didn’t have anything in it the youtube filters would have caught. The other comment I left is there though.

Yeah I left a second one when I got to the part about the OG. I left the other one in the first 10 seconds of opening the video.
It’s weird because both comments were visible on my end, and the only two on the video at that time. Then I went to edit the original one just to add another sentence since I had finished the part about the OG but it gave me a “requested resource not found error” and when I refreshed it was gone.
