I think that’s part of why many succeed in mma because they have addictive personalities which allow them to fully commit & immerse themselves in training. But when the fighting’s not there anymore or the booze/drugs become so easily available it shifts to that instead. There’s been quite a few pro’s who were addicts & then found fighting & it took over in place of the drugs. But once an injury happens…
