That’s a good one. One of my friends had a psychotic break and wanted to commit suicide but insisted his wife kill herself,too. When she refused he knocked her unconscious and choked her. She’s lucky his brother was there to choke him out first.
They put him in a psych ward for a hold then released him drugged to the gills with meds. He eventually refused to take his meds and had a less severe episode. They held him for 24 hours then called her and said, “if you don’t come get him now we are dropping him off at the homeless shelter.”
