you didn’t even know there was a weight clause…
most will not either…
it is there for a reason… to think otherwise is just silly…

he has spent his entire career at heavy… he has never cut…
Of course. He has a shot now because AJ will need to water load and then sit in a sauna for a few hours.
I didn’t think it was likely, but he’s made a career out of having big, well-defined muscles, and the thing I read about the weight clause made me wonder.
if someone has never had to cut weight before it will be a thing…
it is why the weight clause is there…
He’s a millionaire. He will hire someone and if it’s 7 lbs from his last fighting weight that is laughably easy.
If you’re right about his prior weight I doubt it’ll be an issue. I cut more than that, and I fought at lightweight and welterweight (and as an amateur).
there is no telling what dude weighs now…
10lbs lighter than his last fight for a title that he trained for and was still outclassed…
the weight clause is there for a reason…
10lb cut for someone who is used to pulling is nothing even for light weights…
i doubt it is just 10lbs from he is weighing now…
it is just another thing he has to contend with that he never has before…
the weight clause is there for a reason…
I think we agree with each other, but you write as though we don’t. I’m a little confused!
Might be the wine…
You keep saying that without knowledge of whether that reason is even valid. Yes the intent is for it to drain AJ. Will it? You don’t know. Neither do I. We are guessing. I believe it won’t be a significant factor in how the fight goes.
i do not think we are arguing…
i just think any cut for someone who has never done it is a significant thing…
the reason is 100% valid…
how it affects joshua on fight day is the only thing that is up for debate…
had he ever had to pull any weight before and perform after then we would have a point of reference…
as it is, it is an unknown…
what is not unknown is it is a contractual weight put in their for a specific reason and that reason is to benefit paul…
No. The reason is a HOPE that it will significantly affect him. We don’t know.
ok
Ali was the answer for a couple of different models…with a pronpt or without. I think Joe Louis or Rocky.
What is the answer.
I agree, anyone would throw a fight for $50 mill but not to Jake. It takes a great boxer POS to do it.
Jake either run like a chicken or start the match attacking like a wild turkey.
if joshua doesn’t drop him like 3rd period french by the second round his legitimate boxing aspirations are over…
Yeah, I hate to admit it, but Paul’s a legit pro. IMO,his skill-level is that of a decent clubfighter/journeyman. But he’s accomplished what he has because he’s a damn good athlete & he works his ass off.
Loving that @LJB and @James_III back and forth lol
