“I’m gonna be fighting in 12 weeks,” Pimblett said. “July 11, it’s gonna be.”
While Pimblett revealed the date for his UFC return, he did not specify his opponent. That detail should be revealed fairly soon, but fellow lightweight contenders like Benoit Saint Denis, Mateusz Gamrot, Arman Tsarukyan, Dan Hooker and Renato Moicano all seem like viable options.
Outside of Pimblett’s return, not much is known about UFC 329. The card is widely expected to be headlined by the return of MMA superstar Conor McGregor. However, the Irishman has been plotting a comeback for years, and it still hasn’t happened, so there’s plenty of skepticism about that. We also known heavyweight prospect Gable Steveson will debut on the card. However, like Pimblett, we don’t know who he’ll fight yet.
