Yep a bunch of fighters and even Dana would show up in the forum here and there.
Then the sport became more popular and all the immature casuals showed up and scared off all the fighters.
I dont blame the fighters for leaving. It was a special place before all that.

True - amateur fights are all over the place. Sometimes there’s headgear, shinguards, rule differences, etc. Most of the time it is exactly like pro just with 3 minute rounds instead of 5.

Amateur MMA deaths are rare. You’re way more likely to get killed by a bee sting, a lightning bolt, or blugeoned by a falling coconut over your lifetime than from one fight.
Being a fat fuck doesn’t help, but it doesn’t make a single amateur bout a death sentence either.
Life on the line is dramatic, maybe I should’ve said chance of receiving a permanent injury which is plenty true.

It’s difficult to feel bad for him.. he has access to a top tier lifestyle and training. He looks sloppy fat.
Some of us still remain but it’s so true that people here will do anything to drive away the people that they are supposed to be supporting

on topic: Bisping Jr. does look pudgy , if still amateur he still has time to find his weight class and do well , I am sure he has access to the absolute best training

I remember when Joe Rogan used to post. I don’t think they all got “scared off” - I think they just became too big/busy. no professionals in any popular sport spend time commenting on fan message boards
