Your dad being a retired MMA fighter does not overcome being locked into a cage against an opponent with warrior genes.

That’s a strange sentence

Callum looks like he did his training at the DC Buffet… didn’t he wrestle at a much lower weight

Good for him - nothing better for development than losing amateur fights

That’s what I was thinking. Thought as a wrestler he would be in fight shape with bags of cardio like his Dad:man_shrugging:

How often is the son of a prominent fighter ever above lower level? It’s like a foregone conclusion they won’t be anywhere close to their parent in most cases.

Antonio and AJ McKee

Callum used to post on tbe UG and he was a nice dude.

Looks a little overweight here, ive seen a couple of his fights and he has some skills.

Not to mention, they have a huge target on their backs.

He wrestled at 197 in college

I wouldn’t count Antonio as a prominent fighter. He’s obscure and AJ has still never went to the UFC. It would be like Anderson Silva’s kid being something. Even Kimbo’s kid can’t make any waves.

So I guess Fedor wasn’t a prominent fighter

Yeah let’s compare Antonio McKee to the greatest fighter in history.

They should bring back Pancrase rules for amateur fights. It gives fighters a chance to make mistakes and develop themselves without getting completely destroyed.
