Oh I don’t mean “why is this news”, like “why would anyone want to know it”. I mean like why is this some supremely awful news like the kid is wrecked and will never come back. The fanboyism was completely cringeworthy. For some of the fighters or whomever, it definitely went to their heads. Anything but idol worship or fawning over them was unacceptable.
Were there trolls who maybe went over the top? I’m sure, but I mostly remember semi-famous people getting butthurt by getting spoken to like a normal person instead of being worshipped.
Non-fighter Joe Rogan was the perfect example. Mr. Hard Edge couldn’t handle getting called out on his bs or politely questioned, but he felt it was his unique right to do that to others.
