Brock Lesnar talks about being Scared in the Octagon

I’ve never seen anyone react to getting hit like brock. Scared shitless.

3 if not 4 rounds to 1. Knockfown was a slip. I was there.

Old man fedor likely, but pre 100 fedor destroys brock, brock can’t stand being hit and fedor never lost much power. I would have put money on fedor up until strikeforce when his chin started to give in. I think a lot of people forget how brock reacted after being hit hard, basically he has nothing until his opponent gasses.

Brock was never going to be a real fighter, yes he fought for real but he lacked the technique and jaw to be successful at the highest level. Mir beat himself in the 2nd fight and on by bulking up like that was the answer, mir made brock look like a world beater because he fought with a terrible game plan vs a guy that big and fast. He just didn’t respect brocks power, fedor would. The only other fight brock looked beastly was herring and big dan blurred his vision before the bell then brock broke that orbital seconds into the fight and still could not finish the guy. Brock is not as good as people think, shrink him and he is bellator level fighter, size matters but not to the extent a skilled prime fighter couldn’t negate it. Randy was doing great before he allowed brocks reach to get him.

Kalib starnes still stands out, he definitely didn’t want to fight.

Brock’s best chance is to bulldoze Fedor. IMO, Brock gives Fedor as much respect as he gave Randy and Fedor lights him up.

The big question is how will Fedor do if he gets pinned against the cage.

GSP was more scared of being embarrassed. It made him train like crazy.

Dude had no ego in training. He would box boxers, wrestle wrestlers and grapple grapplers that had no reason to go easy on him.

These guys are all crazy tough. Recall they fight opponents of the same weight and as skilled as they are. All trained killers. It takes BALLS.

I think he makes a compelling case after coming back and grabbing MW belt.

Same weight? Heavyweights fight between 206-265, huge range. Heavyweight should be capped at 250 lbs with everyone over being a super heavyweight, there would be less cutting overall and size would mean a little less. Brock claimed he was over 300 pounds in the cage during 1 fight and was regularly said to be at least 282 on fight night. That vs anyone 230 lbs or less seems like a pretty unfair advantage.

Heavyweight = Basically 2 or 3 divisions in 1.

But he had all the tools and power to beat fedor at that brief moment though. I’m not saying brock is a better fighter or a better body of work - on that ufc 100 night he smashes fedor though.

The hate he had for mir and mir not taking him seriously is why that fight went that way, Frank was comfortable with being on his back (until he wasn’t) and paid the price while making brock look like a million bucks. Rage is real and brock used it but you just cannot manifest real rage unless you have real hate hence why he fights fedor different no matter the night. Fedor wouldn’t go down as easy and could scramble pretty good. We clearly see it different, I think Brock was rage fighting (likely on roids) and mir was fighting like he forgot his own skill set.
