Maybe unpopular opinion, but here it goes;
I see all these ig posts about dana, rogan and buffer like they are all 60 and retiring someday and people claim buffer is the biggest loss.
I think opposite. Buffer takes away from the moment for me. I have always felt this.

I was a teenage halfass photographer for independent wrasslin mostly through a relative who got me in. UPW was a big one in SoCal back then and had a charity show for a kids hospital. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall,Jimmy Snuka, Ken Shamrock etc all there that night. I also met Tank Abbott in the crowd before he got kicked out for trying to fight Ken Shammy for real. Quite the scene.
Anyway met Bruce in the hallway before the show and he just seemed kind of self important like he was a big star. I knew he was the ufc guy but it didnt seem like anyone around us did. He just seemed a little annoyed and SUPER overdressed as I remember it. Like long coat over his tuxedo kinda shit. I could be way off, I am 40 remembering a night when I was I think 17-18

When he first got his start he was carrying boxes of his T Shirts up to his room. They were kinda big, so I helped him carry them. Every time I’ve seen him since, he’s been cool with me.
