Im no lawyer, I am retarded, but to me the sentencing being pushed to January is a good sign. I do not think the max will be in play, I think closer to probation and time served. At least thats what I hope.

Reckless discharge of a firearm can be written as a misdemeanor. 1 year in county plus 1000 dollar fine.
Asa felony 3 years and 10k fine. He was already in jail for a while so easy to write that off as time served.
Thats even with an injury or death
Shooting into an occupied vehicle, 6mos to 1 year (county) or 3 to 7 years in prison.
The reckless driving is a ticket IMO.
