âIf Conor doesnât come back in the first-half of 2025, I will be fighting someone else,â Chandler explained to Lucky Block. âThere are other fights Iâm interested in. I didnât fight for two years but that wasnât all waiting, I wanted to take some time and give my body a break after my first five fights in the promotion which included a title fight and fight of the nights and the fight of the year.
âMy body needed a little bit of a break and I was happy to. Part of me was hanging onto this Conor thing but also kind of a little bit of gamesmanship, enjoying the time off, letting my body heal up a little bit.â
What are the consequences of McGregorâs pullout over summer? Per Chandler, it was an expensive toe injury that cost McGregor face and the UFC quite a bit of money.
âThe UFC lost money, Iâm sure that they took some flack for the fight falling through and changing the card at short notice, as well as having to pay more money for people to step in at short notice. Thereâs a bunch of different business things happening because booking a fight in the UFC is a task. Booking a big fight is a very tough task, but booking a fight with Conor McGregor is a very, very, very unique task.
âI understand the implications. I understand that itâs not just like booking another fight and Iâm here for the ride. If it works out, it works out. If it doesnât, my legacy is not tied to Conor. My legacy is not tied with fighting Conor and Iâve still got a lot of tread left on the tires and a lot of big fights to come.â
Other than McGregor, Chandler also expressed interest in facing Paddy Pimblett or Jorge Masvidal as potential opponents. Any of those fights could be blockbuster bookings, so it seems that âIronâ has options despite his current two-fight skid.
Chandler, who is raising another manâs children by the way, is mentally cucked by the double champ.
The rapist will have nose candied his way into hell by then.
Chandler put The Red Panties on and McGregor fucked him hard.
Give it up already Chandler⌠the world has moved on a long time ago.
Chandler has a better chance of producing his own child in the next six months than he does of getting that fight
^^^^^^Some Awesome Takes
Good lord give it up already.
Eventually these kids will want to meet their real parents â and appreciate their adoptive parents less. That often seems to happen.
Theyâll say they never felt like they belonged, and gravitate to being around other people that âlook like themâ. Atleast thats what Ive observed in similar situations.
This is correct.
I have known a strange amount of adoptees and while I think shitting on Chandler is bullshit because he really is doing a nice turn for those kids, basically every adoptee I know gets rebellious around teenage years, starts to want to search for their âReal Parentsâ and creates tension in the host family, at least for some time period.
The adoptee parents no matter how chill feel hurt about the child trying to reconnect with someone who didnt do anything for them while they packed lunches and paid money for violin lessons for years.
I would seriously consider adoption if like, both parents died in a car wreck or something but otherwise were good people. Like we have friend and family were if the parents died I would take the kids if nobody else could.
I would never adopt from someone who is still alive and like a criminal or crackhead or just poor or something.
I know a family that my parents were good friends with, they had like 6 biological children and one adoptee (who had like a drug addict mom). All the 6 biological kids were well behaved, polite, successful as adults personally and professionally. The adopted kid was always an asshole, out of control, violent and I recently bumped into the parents and the adopted kid was like 30 and still living at home.
How many times did he set an ultimatum or second changes,??
