Fuck. If I was a Hollywood actor/actress I would be pretty concerned about this.
Now you don’t have to be a pretty face/perfect body. Now you can be ugly as fuck but as long as you’re an amazing voice actor you have a shot at Hollywood stardom.

The faces still have that “too smooth” AI look to them but within five years it will be indistinguishable from real people.
Little inconsistences aside, it’s hot fire! I keep seeing teasers like this, so why don’t we have a 100% full length feature?
Just promt it to do a DUNE star Wars hybrid about an immortal lightsaber or some shit, and tell it to make it 2 hours long and leave a big cliff hanger at the end for part 2?
The biggest problem is taking direction.. You can be very broad and it’ll give you something decent but if you try to give it specific direction it cant handle it very well yet.
Now… Someone could come up with a new technique to fix this problem tomorrow or we could still be dealing with it in 10 years.. But once that problem is solved there wont be film anymore. Like they won’t film anything anymore. Everything will be AI generated or some hybrid.
AI will be great at those shitty CGI fast paced action movies. This actually looks pretty good but there is nothing unique or creative about it. Like a well made chinese rip off where you are only happy because it cost 1/4th the price of the original.
For AI to be useful in art and film you’re going to need creative people to seed it with their aesthetics and then use it to generate large parts of the movie or art.

You see a lot of little cool and impressive AI videos like this online, but never anything of substance or original. And here’s the secret. It’s because it sucks.
Even if it gets better, it’s just throwing a bunch of preexisting ideas together and creating something new out of them. It’s all generic without a human mind to give it a unique touch.
Think about funny shows like South Park or Family Guy, which are so unique to the minds of the creators behind them. Do you think AI can ever create something new on that level? It’s just an algorithm.
It will have scene continuity issues for a while. But when those are remedied it is for sure an issue for narcissists worldwide.
