I don’t know a lot about knee injuries but it seems dangerous to go in the cage and potentially make a prior injury worse.
That said, taking off the shoes and throwing the kicks, it does seem like he is very purposefully avoiding putting weight on the right leg.
People probably forgot the last fight Derrick Minner had in the UFC when he got suspended for the betting scandal. Minner had a knee issue and threw a kick, obviously aggravated it, and then threw another one only to fall and get finished. Could be coincidence, but I can’t help but think of the similarities here.
