Conor took a dive

He knew his knee was iffy so the first thing he did was put as much force on it as possible with that stupid jumping kick knowing his leg probably wouldn’t hold up.

look at his entrance. The last place he wanted to be was in that arena that night. I guess an attempt at saving face with an “injury” vs getting the brakes beaten off of him by max.

This is correct.

The pure dejection was all over his face.

He had three options:

Cancel without pay.

Fight and get embarrassed by Max.

Throw some big shit and make the injury obvious while still getting paid and potentially setting up a 3rd payday with Max.

He’s crazy, but not dumb.

Yea I just saw a video of him online a week prior to the fight going to a pain management clinic and limping. The walkout he wanted to be anywhere but there. The injury angle gives him an excuse instead of getting kod

From what I’ve seen he was injured prior to the walkout, Dana can claim otherwise all he wants but I’m sure deep down he’s pissed.

Lotta suspect shit. He was throwing kicks easily on the warmups. But then not flying ones.

He looked injured taking off his shoes… But at rhe weighins, he was running and acting crazy with no signs at all.

Lots of pain killers involved in that shitshow.

You need to accept the fact that Max is just that good.

Park a high end sports car for 5 years.

Change the tires, tune it up, change the fluids and then take on the highway and redline it.

Shit is gonna break.

He knew he was hurt and Max was gonna beat him down for 5 rounds in front of the world, so he did what was the least damaging thing for his brand.

My thing is even if he wasn’t hurt prior, he still knew he was going to get pieced up badly. You can see it all over his face. He almost looked like he was about to have a panic attack for a second during walkouts. Hell he really never even looked like he was in fighting shape from a great camp. Just enough for his body to look relatively well for pics and make weight.

This fight was never in doubt. It is absolutely crazy what the line ended at for this fight and crazy there were people, even long time mma fans, that thought he had a chance or would actually show up ready for a fight.

Max fucked up his other knee last time they fought. Either way, win or lose, Max is bad for his sticks.

Not saying he took a dive but his face in intros looked like a guy with no confidence. I thought he had decent chance to win in first . But insane for anyone to put money on him

Nothing at all suspect about Joe, Dan, and Max totally falling on their swords in perfect sequence. Then, Conor declaring martyrdom.

But that kind of implies he never wanted to fight in the first place. He certainly doesn’t need the money. He’s the wealthiest ufc fighter in history

Max and Whittaker showed some class by not Hendo’ing their opponents when they were obviously finished.

2 of the good guys in the sport fosho.

No he was not.

I posted video of the warmups.

You can clearly see his knee shift. He looks down at it twice. And on the second time, slams his gloves together in frustration.
