Dana White has been personally lobbied by his own family members over Paramount+âs inability to offer full event replays, and the UFC president confirmed the promotion is working to solve the problem that has dogged the platform since it took over UFC broadcasts in 2026.
Speaking at the UFC 329 post-fight press conference in Las Vegas, White addressed the fan complaint that has stood out above all others since Paramount+ became the exclusive U.S. home for UFC numbered events.
The lack of a single, continuous full-event replay has frustrated subscribers who could easily rewatch entire cards during the ESPN era.
The issue hit home for White after his own family tried and failed to rewatch last monthâs UFC Freedom 250 card at the White House.
Made aware of it? My fans were torturing me that they couldnât watch the White House fight event,â White said when asked if he knew about the problem.
Theyâre not wrong. But the problem is the music. The music, and youâve gotta take the walkouts out.
He continued:
Weâre working on it. Youâre not wrong, and Iâve been getting tortured over this in my own house.
How Paramount+ Currently Handles UFC Replays
The UFC moved to Paramount+ after inking a reported $7.7 billion media rights agreement that runs through 2033. Under the deal, numbered events are no longer sold as traditional pay-per-view in the U.S. and are instead included with a Paramount+ subscription.
Paramount+ markets replays and highlights for every UFC event. Still, those are typically served up as individual fights, highlight packages, and reaction shows rather than one uninterrupted stream of the full card.
The platform also hosts a UFC archive library of more than 1,400 items, featuring curated compilations and selected main cards from 2000 through 2025.
Whiteâs comments follow the promotionâs touted success on the platform, with the company reporting UFC Freedom 250 drew 17 million viewers, with more global numbers still to come.
UFC 329 marked the latest numbered event on the platform, headlined by Conor McGregorâs return against Max Holloway. White had earlier outlined five scenarios for McGregor should the Irishman win.
it remains to be seen when Paramount will introduce full event replays, though fans will be hoping for a fix before the next numbered event. UFC 330 takes place in Philadelphia on August 15, with Ian Machado Garry challenging Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title in the main event.*
Had to watch a few replays as I went out to a charity thing for the first half of the main card. Was kind of annoyed they cut the walkouts. Most the time I wouldnât care but I didnât get to see Paddy rave dammit!
Fans need to learn about Torrents. Itâs the only way to watch Event replays, as they keep in the Walkout music.
What about fixing the tempo of the card? They control that. The first main card bout started 27 minutes in. Since they have been on Paramount, itâs has been a staple. Usually it was around 15-18 min in.
This time tough, they didnât show the âhype clipsâ before every bout. Just for the co-main and main event. And thatâs fine that way. It ended early just because these two bouts ended so quick!
I thought the tempo was great. For 14 fights that almost all ended in finishes, the main event kicked off around 11:30. Normally the cards wrap around 1:00 AM which is brutal for me as an EST viewer.
