I hear you but I’m rooting for Bo to find out how to implement his wrestling into his mma game - so far it’s largely a non factor.. if Bo has to keep winning on the feet then he’s going to get starched when he fights higher ranked opponents

I agree. I think he’s scared to do it lest people think he’s boring.
There’s a way to incorporate high level grappling into MMA - just do something once the fight hits the mat! Subs, GnP… anything but just laying there or controlling with zero damage.
Fedor should be the blueprint for these high level wrestlers in MMA that want to use their grappling skills, but also be exciting. He always set up his TD’s with fast, powerful strikes and was a workhorse on the mat. Relentless GnP, sub attempts, etc.
I’d watch that all goddamn day.

He is definitely improving and pretty quickly. You have to remember he has not been at this MMA game for very long. He is smart, doesn’t party and has a champion wrestlers work ethic. I think it’s only a matter of time until he is top 5. So many guys get pushed too fast and flame out. They are bringing him along slowly, which is IMHO a good thing.

I think his striking looked good and improved. It needs to keep getting better.
He has a great wrestling base but he will have fights he can’t get it to the ground so he is going to have to strike, probably a lot.

I disagree. The dude has 10 fights and like 7 of them has been in the UFC. He is showing improvement and has the skill set to be a top guy.
Too soon to say. If stays hungry, he’ll go far.
I think so. Seemed a lot of people said Daukaus was gonna give him problems… Then he basically offers nothing and gets tko’d and those same people are saying Bo is terrible…makes no sense.
Seems to me he’s been improving with each fight, he’s just a guy people really like to hate.

He needs ghetto rage. He is KOing cans. He needs white trash meth rage.
His style reminds me of Koschek and I wonder if that’s because of the Pennsylvania wrestling to MMA pipeline. People hate Kos, but he was good. His opponents were afraid of his wrestling so that allowed him to use it to strike and get some good KO wins. Time will tell if it will lead him to a title fight opportunity.
