Not a fucking chance. Patty is high on his own stash after beating a washed chandler. He’s going to be in a fight that’s exponentially harder than he anticipates and Ilia will put his lights out.
Ilia was very close to putting Charles in some really bad spots on the ground and opted to go the harder route.

Paddy is in a position where it doesn’t matter if he has the title. He’s a draw whether he wins or loses. Especially with the Brits. Chael nailed it when he said that once the audience starts participating in your schtick, you’re golden.
Yeah paddy has his own style. I always root against him but I like watching him fight

Ilia’s grappling is elite.
UFC put out all of his fights and I rewatched them on Friday. At one point he strung about 7 legit submission attempts one after the other on Youseff Zalal in his UFC debut.
He damn near had Oliveira in a fuckin crucifix…
Guy is on another planet with his skills.

Charles always goes for the kill. He landed some good shots I would have really liked to see a few more rounds.

He must’ve cried after making weight as the backup then they bring in Paddy. Topuria even called Arman out specifically “ there’s a guy that’s when it’s time to deliver his back hurts”, Joe - “ you must be talking about Paddy” lol. I hope Arman gets skipped for Paddy, he deserves it for his bs. Plus Paddy vs Topuria is a fun fight , I’m sure Topuria wins it but Paddy has been fun to watch and is much bigger.

You guys are crazy if you think he out grappled Charles. First Charles was hurt and cut. Charles was checking the cut and ilia passed. Charles swept and almost got his leg immediately and ilia did a good job escaping and stood up.
I thought Charles would big brother Topuria in the grappling but it look the opposite to me. Even in the clinch it looked to me that Topiria was getting the better of Charles.
Charles was but and maybe stunned. I saw the leg attacks but I didn’t think he was going to get them.
I was rooting for Charles, but I thought the fight was sort of one sided
