what is the problem with starmer? please be a specific as you can, i have seen a lot of vague claims like the ones musk makes but when i go looking i cant find evidence for it and i do find evidence to suggest the opposite is true, that he did prosecute these types of crimes at a higher rate than ever before and he changed rules and issued advisories to encourage prosecutors to file more charges and not fall for trope reasons to not move forward with cases.

I’m a huge fan of Hitchens. He used reason and experience to argue his position. That’s not what I see in this thread.
I agree that cultural differences can jar and I accept that this might lead to criminal behaviour where it would not otherwise have occurred, though I don’t have examples. However, Great Britain - and before that England at least (I’m not sure about Scotland or Wales) - has benefited enormously from migration, and indeed from being conquered. Our (this!) language is a mishmash, more so than most others, our culture is rich and varied, our arts are varied, our food is varied, and so on. Those of us who aren’t baying at anyone who looks different can see the benefits they have brought to us. It’s worth bearing in mind that we’ve produced plenty of very nasty people who look just like us.
We are a tiny island with no right to hold the cultural position in the world that we do, and yet we do, still - even if it is waning.
I recall reading that there are Americans who are very proud to be descendants from those on the Mayflower. I’m not sure what they called themselves - Original Americans, perhaps? Immigrants, all of them, as is anyone American who isn’t a native American (and maybe them too, if you go back far enough). Are those on this thread arguing against those people - that’s probably themselves - too? Is there a statute of limitations on being descended from immigrants?

In simple terms, we vote in our local Members of Parliament, and the party with the most MPs picks a leader to be Prime Minister.
This country isn’t perfect by any means, but if we blamed Keir Starmer for that we’d have no hope of ever improving.
I honestly believe that a lot of issues are exacerbated by a profit-hungry media industry. That’s not to say they’re lying, but that they are often unreasonable. The Labour Party have been in power for just a few months and yet they are already being barracked by the media about, variously, NHS waiting lists, the economy, immigration - and indeed now rape gangs. A lot of what I’ve seen from Musk on this last point is categorically and demonstrably untrue, by the way - and what he suggested about Jess Philips in particular is misinformed and downright cruel. I’m a fan of what he’s achieved in technology, but he is a turning into a megalomaniacal manchild.

Been speaking with some ex UK natives who left ole blighty and they say it was a shit show of pakis, towel heads and jeets over 25 years ago.
Had stories for days of situations when he was at school and they had constant school yard fights with the Brown people.
The common result was the whiteys would get suspended or expelled and the non whites would not get any punishment. In fact one time they got sent off to these camps where they went to the beach side and had a great old time.
He says the UK can Fucking burn for all he cares. It’s become a shit hole country filled with shit hole low life immigrants from shit hole countries.

those are hard targets but those machines needs servicing and needs to resupplied. guns can target those soft areas and hamper operations much more than rocks and sticks.
