I first saw him on a VHS cage fight show that Renzo won (beat up and then stepped on him). Erik had long hair in his stunt man times and he fought a boxer who entangled his fingers into Erik’s hair for the whole fight.
He dirty boxed Erik for the whole fight and Erik couldn’t get out of it.
A true pioneer of MMA. Well deserved.

I trained with him several times 2008-2013. I always tell people, if you had to pick 3 guys in their prime to “back you up in a bar fight” he would be in the conversation for me.
