This is not really a good thing. We want coverage of the sport on a sports network. Would be nice if they kept one of them to cover the fights and what’s happening in mma.

I think they’ve kept Brett Okamoto for that, who’s one of the better journalists / interviewers in the sport. He’s like a less sniveling version of Ariel.

Paramount needs to pick some people up for coverage. I’m not a huge fan of the two they’ve had doing all the coverage thus far.

Like who?

The first show on Paramount is in 2 weeks?

UFC announcers Anik, Rogan to stay in booth after Paramount deal . UFC President Dana White confirmed that the MMA promotion’s broadcast booth, including blow-by-blow announcer Jon Anik and analyst Joe Rogan, will stay intact when the new contract with Paramount goes into effect next year.

Of the previous crews I could take or leave DC, Sanko the red headed guy, or even Dom Cruz.

Bisping is a bit better and more interesting here and there for Fight Nights

Well yeah, it’s ESPN.

Yeah I don’t mean the announcers. They have coverage somewhere on the app already. Two guys I didn’t recognize nor find interesting as the experts.

Fox had random basketball/football bros who had never seen MMA before. I don’t think I ever even watched anything MMA on ESPN lol.

ESPN’s NHL coverage can suck it. Always doing some unneeded bullshit graphically that’s reminiscent of old Fox shit.

My point was during periods where ESPN did not have NHL games, the sport may as well not have existed, they never even showed highlights on Sports Center and they got rid of all the shows and personalties relating to hockey.
