Former UFC Title Challenger Motown Opens Texas Restaurant

This one still blows my mind. How could anyone sign off on this for a “steakhouse”

I’m not sure bc I would never order or or even go there but I’m betting the damn Golden Corral in town could serve a better steak and sides than this. That steak and potato look like a bargain bin buy. And the corn… is that sitting in a bowl of brown gravy? Of course the salads were just pulled from a bag O salad mix. Who the fuck even let him do this without saying anything? You know, I’m guessing someone in the chain made a good chunk of money though.

Dude i don’t even know what you’re getting at.

All I and most have said here is how opening a restaurant is a dumb decision, especially if you’re not famous whichKL is not. And you are replying , saying the same exact thing but acting like someone said it’s a good idea.

All good man, have a nice evening.

Restaurants are a super solid investment, they rarely fail and being a former athlete gives you transferable skills to own one. Plus with “Motown” Kevin Lee’s celebrity and name recognition Im guessing the place will be packed with people coming just for the chance to shake his hand.

Is Dan Hendersons restaurant still kicking?

It’s no pastamania

@Siciliano you go dudeiano

That legitimately looks like food on the level of the “guy from Facebook posts what he eats” thread on the old OG.

Do any former fighters have a successful restaurant?

Lee might have a little better chance just because his brother has millions of followers just by reviewing food and will obviously be promoting it. Who knows if it’ll last though.

Menu sounds good. I’ll probably go check it out as well.
