He may never get that opportunity. Arguably the best heavyweight left as champion to join the pfl and Jon has openly refused to fight him even for great money. And he never got a chance to fight Stipe either. Heā€™ll have to defend the belt 7+ times just to leapfrog guys who canā€™t or wonā€™t fight him.

PFL got royally fucked on that deal. Guy made them wait a year while he tanked his stock in boxing, showed up for one fight that nobody really cared about, then left. Theyā€™re probably in a worse position now than they were when they signed him, its done absolutely nothing to elevate their brand.

Jon ran through Gane easier than anyone else has - that and his work at 205 tell me he is an elite hvwt .. Jones is an amazing fighter

I get it, u like Aspinal and I do too but his performance vs Gane was lacking.. he has to get back in there and remedy that and we will see where he is at
