Stipe, Cody Garbrandt, and the Hammer House guys are my favorite fighters of all time. Stipe put on a masterclass that night despite everyone thinking he was going to get murdered. That was one of the most satisfying fights I’ve ever seen.

I think it’s a cool thing to follow and would like to see him back in the UFC to defend his title. He’s probably gonna retire without fighting MMA again though sadly. PFL can’t afford to pay him and his opponent because of his retarded contract and his desire to chase boxing money.
I think his best path back to the UFC would have been by taking the Paul fight and destroying Jake in a quick overwhelming barrage early KO. Not fighting isn’t helping at all.
