Consent is taught in school and it’s also the parents job to teach that as well. If your teenager does not understand consent that’s irresponsible of the parents. Thats why it’s actually taught now because some parents are useless.
It doesn’t matter what she says before she’s drunk. It matters in the moment. Shes allowed to change her mind as much as she wants.
I’ve never had this argument settled for me. What happens if both are drunk, mutual rape? If the woman is not responsible for consenting while intoxicated, why doesn’t the same standard apply to the man who is intoxicated?
If we don’t hold people responsible for their decisions while intoxicated, why do we have DUIs?
This argument doesn’t fly in marriage. If the wife cheats and says it was because she was drunk, ain’t no man gonna treat her like a victim.
Honestly, these are all things I’ve thought about. I don’t know that there can ever be a blanket answer to them. I think it’s got to be assessed on an individual basis.
