I had one years ago because I have a family history of colorectal cancer. The procedure wasn’t bad, and neither was the prep. Last time I did the over the counter prep, not this drink.

How is this one different, and why did you have to do this one?
Propofol is effective as fuck. I imagine that’s what it’s like to die.

Had one a couple of months ago. (See OG colonoscopy thread 2024) The prep/fasting was rough. Otherwise no prob. Propofol is amazing. You got this bro

A few years ago when I had a colonoscopy I asked the nurse what she was injecting. She said propofol and another drug. I said I hadn’t heard of those drugs before. About that time she reached over and shook my arm. I asked her why she did that. She said the procedure was over lol. I literally picked up the conversation where I went out and didn’t even know I was knocked out for an hour.

My guy said “Count to five and I’ll see you on the other side”. I remember saying “6 motherfucker”. Then my wife suddenly appeared in the room and I wasn’t in the same room and the doctor was telling her I had one thing but otherwise perfect. It was a time warp. I didn’t even fart. Well as far as I know.

This tastes like thick saline solution. It’s also 4 liters. The over the counter prep was 2 bottles of the laxative powder and a shot ton of light colored Gatorade.

Like shit right now, though. Feel totally depleted and run down. I can’t believe I did this for days at a time to wrestle or fight. I can’t even think straight.

I just had to take a laxative pill and chug two bottles of miralax with any gatorade that wasn’t red. It was pretty easy actually. I just couldn’t trust a fart or leave the house because I wouldn’t know when it would hit.

Well, Gentlemen…. Here I go. I was up all night pooping my brains out. That medicine is God awful. I’m hopeful that my insides are clean enough for the Dr. to get a good look around. I don’t want to do this again anytime soon. That’s for sure.

i’ve had a bunch of them. my dad had colon cancer in his late thirties, so that’s when i started.
prep isn’t nearly as bad as it used to be.
a couple of very chilled bottles of mag citrate and a couple of pills, good wet wipes and lots of chicken or beef broth.
Prep was awful this time.
