I got a neck stinger and the coaches made me do the ice whirlpool for it. So down to my ears. I should’ve got a snorkel instead. I can’t imagine doing it today, my heart would stop

I have a coffee can that I fill with water and crushed ice and I just dunk my balls in that. Much more effective and to the point

Cold plunging is a great way to lose gains from training and possibly get yourself sick.

Boomer science told us it would give us a heart attack.
Gen X equivalent is that you’ll lose gains.
The actual research shows a lot of benefits, but it’s not something to do as a “cool down” like our track coaches used to think. Best done on a rest day, or removed from training by a few hours.
