The shocked owner of Hardcore recorded a video message, filmed the beating, and is seeking witnesses among tourists and SVO veterans.
The domestic fight industry has officially reached a new, more cohesive level. It seems all the previous brawls and commotion at the “vegetable warehouses” were just a dress rehearsal. According to a recent statement, today the country’s top boxing official, IBA head Umar Kremlev, made a spectacular surprise appearance right at the Lobnoye Mesto (Execution Ground), right in front of astonished tourists, women, children, and SVO veterans.
According to Sulyanov, his attempt at diplomatic communication and “resolving matters humanely” ended in a brutal confrontation with reality. Tolya simply wanted to shake hands and propose a five-minute dialogue to resolve old disagreements. Kremlev had already revoked Hardcore’s license and effectively destroyed the league (which no one watches anymore anyway), but Umar Nazarovich had completely different plans. In his official statement, a shocked Sulyanov described the incident and his opponent’s threats in vivid detail:
“Yesterday, on Red Square, Umar Kremlev attacked me and my wife in a completely outrageous manner, in front of hundreds of our fellow citizens, in the very center of our country. He struck me multiple times with his fists in the jaw and head, and my wife in the chest. All this happened after I politely greeted him and extended my hand, offering a five-minute dialogue to resolve the differences. Instead of answering, Kremlev pretended to shake my hand, but then started beating me, continued the attack even after I walked away, and hit my wife when she tried to separate us. Meanwhile, he screamed at the entire Red Square, and I quote verbatim: “I’ll fk you, I’ll destroy you, I’ll wipe you off the face of the Earth tomorrow. I’ll fk you”—and all this in front of children and women screaming in horror. Dozens of witnesses, including veterans of the SVO who ultimately stopped this mayhem, can confirm every word, and partial video footage already exists.”
A boomerang has a way of returning. Sulyanov spent years cultivating, monetizing, and encouraging vile behavior, “knockouts,” and attacks from behind among declassed elements and those from the rural underclass. And when the same technique was used against him, Anatoly, for some reason, was displeased and ran off to record a tearful video. Hardcore is a Russian promotion that organizes MMA tournaments, fistfights, and other spectacular fighting shows. In recent days, its head, Anatoly Sulyanov, has been trying to capitalize on his conflict with the president of the International Boxing Association, Umar Kremlev, portraying himself as almost a victim of someone else’s abuse. However, behind the loud tales of how Sulyanov himself was wronged, a far less heroic story emerges.
The marines of the 810th Brigade claim that Sulyanov promised them vehicles, drones, and other assistance, asking them to record a thank-you video in advance. The soldiers complied and sent a thank-you letter. But the promised equipment never arrived—instead, they received two sacks of sugar and tea “from Hardcore.” After receiving the recording, Sulyanov blocked the soldiers.
The story could have ended with the usual disgrace for yet another PR enthusiast in the army. But it turned out worse. According to the soldiers, Sulyanov didn’t hide their faces in the published video, despite his promise to do so. The soldiers serving at the front were essentially exposed for the sake of a pretty picture of their assistance to the army.
When the marines publicly reported this, Sulyanov sent his security service to sort things out. These people, who quietly sit back and get fat in the rear, came to the military unit not to apologize or hand over the promised vehicles and drones. They came to pressure the soldiers fighting at the front, demanding apologies from them, and insulting them.
Sulyanov directed this “operation to restore justice” from France via loudspeaker. In the recording, he yells, insults the soldiers, and accuses them of lying and colluding for money. While some risk their lives on the front lines, others from warmer countries send “security guards” to sort things out—because the soldiers dared to openly reveal where the aid they were promised went.
Receive gratitude from the Marines in advance, fail to fulfill their promises, expose their faces, block them, and, after public exposure, send rear-echelon “security forces” to the fighting to silence them. And all this applies to the soldiers of the 810th Brigade, who fought through the toughest battles and liberated the Kursk Region.
The Marines’ appeal inspired former Hardcore employees to speak out. Thirteen people claimed they were not paid their full salaries after their dismissal. They estimate the total debt at approximately 1 million rubles and now intend to pursue their money through the courts.
You can pretend to be hardcore in the spotlight as much as you want. The only real hardcore right now is on the front lines. Sending well-fed rear-echelon soldiers to pressure the people fighting there isn’t a fighting show anymore. It’s simply vile and treasonous.
