In 2026, the UFC will continue to expand its horizons with how fighters look inside the cage.
While not officially announced, the UFC is planning to launch a âGloves for Goodâ program, which will serve to allow fighters to continue expressing themselves with custom gloves in the cage and contribute to charity. A UFC official described the program in a video posted by BMF champion Max Holloway, who will be the first fighter to wear custom gloves dawning is signature Hawaiian flower design when he meets Charles Oliveira on March 7 at UFC 326.
âThis campaign is gonna be called âGloves for Good.â Youâll be the first one that we roll out next year,â a UFC official told Holloway while he viewed designs. âWhat we want to do is, we want you to do (one) for the auction â the one of one â and then this is the one that youâll get the limited edition 10 of 10 that theyâll sell, and then they would ask you to sign (the others).â
The UFC wasnât very open to custom fight gear during the Reebok era, only sparingly working with a few fighters on custom shorts. In 2021, Venum took over as the official apparel partner of the UFC, and things began to change.
2024 was the year custom fight kits ramped up in a big way, with the UFC and Venum creating personalized shorts for select marquee fighters, including Jon Jones, Alex Pereira, Dustin Poirier, Sean OâMalley, Brandon Moreno, and a host of others. That continued in 2025 and will expand to gloves in 2026.

Simple. If someone who is notorious for having their their fingers out and gouges you, You stick your thumb in their eye immediately after the fight restarts. Same with egregious low blows or any other foul.
Yes
Eye for an eye
EYE Agree
I had some pride type gloves that sort of forced me to curl my fingers.
I still think the ufc should have the power to punish fighter after the fight. Maybe there is footage that comes out later or a more serious injury like Tim suffered.
It is asinine that Gane is going to fight for the interim belt when he injured Tom with an illegal move
This is just a charity thing, just like the cleats thing in the NFL. Whats the reason for even bringing up eye gouging in regards to charity gloves? Bored on a Saturday night?
