he was as effective as you could be while being built like a fire hyrdant with trex arms too - beat lots of guys that had a huge height and reach advantage over him

Really, really good but also really really reach and height challenged
If he had the same arm length to height ratio of GSP he could have been the goat.
Every single one of his punches missed by an inch or two.
Incredible work ethic, quick, strong for his weight, disciplined with his diet and just enough gear to stay healthy.

He was a good wrestler with cardio. Not enough for BJ Penn level guys…but few are.
