I think the difference is De Ridder wasn’t intimidated. He kept pushing forward and did the unthinkable, he tried to wrestle Bo. I think this threw Bo for a loop.
De Ridder was non stop striking like Werdum vs Cain.

Didn’t watch anything but the Stephen’s fights, but Nickel seemed like a douche after that absolutely awful fight with Paul Craig, he’s been pretty much protected so far despite the hype train, and now fights a guy who has no big wins yet outside Holland, and goes out from a single knee to the body.
Now we don’t have to hear a bunch of bullshit from the wrestling purists for awhile.
Some people thought he was going to walk through the entire division just based on his wrestling wins.
