Idea for UFC commentary

I know this will never happen but here goes.

We are all sick of Bisping, DC, Anik, Fitzgerald and company’s lame ass commentary.

Going full negative on fighters after they are losing the first few minutes of round 1, saying the same stuff about not being able to shoot if they are going backwards, straightening out punches etc. Screaming OOOO everytime someone gets touched…

Well we know they aren’t going to upgrade and bring in Michael Schiavello, Bas, or someone more entertaining (I won’t say Mauro cause a lot of people hate him).

Well, I watched a couple of the undercard fights today that I missed yesterday, and those guys are actually pretty good on the mic for a while.

I think that by the time they get t9 the end of 12-15 fights, they are just tired and blathering shit.

I think they need one set of commentators for the undercard, and then just have their main guys do the main card.

Cool story I’ll see myself out.

Man nobody watches that gay shit anymore

How dare you. If I watch the fights I’d rather not listen to bas toot his own horn every event

At least 74 of us were watching on the official OG thread yesterday. At least according to my spreadsheet.

It’s a good idea but ufc would never have 6 commentators every event. Nobody would get a break. I think the real problem is somebody in the org needs to train these people on how to shut up and not always try to fill space with mouth noises.

Also bring back the Devil Frank Murrrr

Two commentators only. They get into too much random shit with three.

Alternate DC for the heavy divisions, Cruz for the lights, Sanko for the WMMA slop, etc.

Good night Irene!

I was just watching RAF matches from last night.

The commentary from Sparks, Sonnen, and Pena was so much more enjoyable than UFC commentary

Bas is great and actually does what an expert commentator is supposed to do, explains position, breaks down technique, provides strategy and is fun to listen to and does his homework. He’s awesome and extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of fighting strategy and styles. I think Dom does a good job too. Daniel has so much knowledge and experience but generally doesn’t give a lot of in depth insight, but he’s okay. Bisping is sort of in the middle. I don’t mind him either.

Bring back Jimmy Smith

I rarely watch but I will say I picked up on how clown show the commentary is. It sounds like a bunch of frat guys sitting around getting drunk talking during the fights.

Little to no professionalism or polish at all.

First thing they need to do is get someone doing the in ring interviews that is not in the broadcast booth. We need some prepared questions and not a re run of what DC has already babbled about and hen had to waddle into the ring and back. He too old for this shit.

Your comment about earlier fights being better is spot on. They haven’t got the cardio and they give up and just accept the takedown by half way

Somebody call Cindy O and tell her to pass on our ideas to Dana
