This is the result of overly-cautious parenting the last couple generations.
In the prime of my life, in my early 20s, when I saw Mike Tyson fight, I knew he would kill me, without question. I had been in enough scraps to know he was on another level several levels above me. On the other hand, if Mike had challenged me to 100 meter freestyle swimming race, it would have be on!
