Is Gymshark the new Ed Hardy / Tapout / Affliction of our era?

Maybe I should start a GYMSHART line of clothing.

Hopefully whoever created it cashed out and let the corporates run it into the ground like TapOut

Gymshark is a British business started only around 10-15 years ago. Fuck knows how they’ve had such a meteoric rise, but they’ve certainly convinced every sub-30 yr old to wear their kit in the gym! Hadn’t realised they were global.

Also seemed most of the people who wear gym shark do so to let others know they work out, because otherwise it would not be evident.

Think it got popular with the YouTube fitfluencer group.

They pay influencers to wear it on camera and sponsor competitors.

Lots of the guys at my gym were BJJ shirts. You know, famous logo or movie, insert BJJ joke or reference here.

People wear Muay Thai stuff as well, but it’s way more prevalent in BJJ.

The gym takes all my money so even if I wanted to, I couldn’t afford all that unnecessary shit.

What happens if he doesn’t wear it?

The commercial gym is mental training for tolerance and concentration. It’s a struggle every dam time.
