Is Gymshark the new Ed Hardy / Tapout / Affliction of our era?

They just seem douchey.

Seemed like it about 10 years ago. The younger group was all wearing that stuff at the gym I go to. Never made sense to me to spend any signficant amount of money on clothing a person just wears to workout beyond sneakers. Shorts are easy to find cheap and all the t-shirts I wear to the gym are just older ones.

I’ve not seen gym shark merch. But if it’s cool like tap out and affliction I am in!

I’ll get out my tight jeans that have designs on the back pockets and I’m back baby!

No pics?

For crying out loud, how am i supposed to know if the brand is cool or not?

Also, hot chicks in tank tops and spandex?

The OG is slipping.

I am disappoint.

That’s all my 15 year old son wears. It’s cheaper than Nike, so I’m cool with it. Plus it actually gets him in the fun 6 days a week. He’s a beast.

Their Onyx collection is hilarious because you need to have like sub 7% bodyfat and a defined v-taper to look good in it, but a bunch of fat dudes rock it because its trendy.

They look so ridiculous. I shudder at the thought of going into a commercial gym again. Getting douche chills just thinking of it

I’ve never heard of Gymshark.

I think youngLA is the gay one but I dont know. I wear hanes.

They merged with Mudshark and are exclusively only seen in the streets now.

Don’t you know, gyms are the new day/night clubs. Everyone is dressing their best to be seen. Get with the times, gramps!

I guess if it gets people in the gym, there are worse things they could be doing. And I certainly wore some douchey MMA clothing back in the day. It does seem to be intimately associated with Broccoli-Heads in my gym, though.
