MMA unified rules disallow small-joint manipulations ie. fingers and toes. I would think BJJ/grappling would have something similar.

While not illegal, jumping around in circles like a retard trying crank on a guy’s hand that’s caught in your gi is a dick move. There’s no control involved, like there would be in a normal wristlock.

This is why pajama grappling is gay. But if you are going to pajama grapple, then it’s a legit move.
No gi is best.

I’m not against wrist locks, but am against not giving your adversary a reasonable chance to tap.
More so if it’s an uncommon move that can catch people by sheer surprise, like biceps locks.
What this guy did, in essence, was no different than what Palhares was doing.
