Jake Paul has some words after viewership numbers for UFC Freedom 250 on Paramount+ surfaced.
UFC Freedom 250 was a historic event that was capped off by a memorable title unification bout in the lightweight division. Justin Gaethje stopped Ilia Topuria before the start of the fifth round to earn his first undisputed UFC championship. The co-main event saw Ciryl Gane finish Alex Pereira to win the interim UFC heavyweight gold.
Paramount announced that UFC Freedom 250 scored 17 million total viewers for the United States and Latin America, and an average of 8.2 million. Global numbers are expected to be released at a later date. MVP MMA 1, which was headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, also drew 17 million viewers on Netflix.
Paul played a role in promoting MVP MMA 1, and he took to his X account to tout those numbers once again.
Most Valuable Promotionsâ co-founder Nakisa Bidarian took a more diplomatic approach when reacting to UFC Freedom 250âs viewership totals.
âTremendous success for UFC 250, which is great for the continued growth of the sport, the fighters and the fans,â Bidarian wrote. âMVP MMA had Netflix. UFC 250 had the Whitehouse and one of the most recognized global figures in history in President Trump. Only winners here in all scenarios. And UFC 250 was an amazing production, whether you agreed with the location or not.
âUFC is by far the most dominant brand / the reference brand for the sport of MMA. For MVP MMA to be in the same ballpark of viewership for their biggest event ever is damn good. Donât care who was higher. Congrats to all.â
Netflix has 5x as many subscribers globally not sure how many more just in USA. Maybe double?
Also Netflix isnât packaged into anything as far as I know so their subscribers are genuine. Iâm guessing half paramount plus subscribers donât even know they have it.
Ronda Rousey mocks Hunter Campbell, UFC after MVP MMA White House event
As reported by The New York Times, UFC Freedom 250 drew an average audience of 8.2 million viewers across the U.S. and Latin America. In contrast, Rousey vs. Carano drew a Netflix live audience of an average of 9.3 million viewers and 12.4 million globally.
UFC CEO Dana White teased an audience comparable to the Super Bowl, a claim that fell well short of the 120 million viewership mark. Rousey repeatedly mocked the UFC Freedom 250 card, claiming it âsuckedâ compared to the MVP event.
After the viewership numbers went live, Rousey didnât miss the opportunity to take a shot at Campbell for passing up on booking the Carano fight.
In a recent tweet, Rousey reacted to the UFC Freedom 250 viewership while reigniting her feud with Campbell.
âLmao! Kiss my ass Hunter Campbell,â Rousey tweeted.
Rousey has had a checkered relationship with the UFC executives in recent years. As evidenced by her recent tweet, donât expect Rousey to warm up to Campbell anytime soon.
Netflix should easily double or even triple anything paramount does
Gloating about the biggest turd of an MMA event ever is hilarious. No one is watching another one of those.
I would guess that the UFC event had a ton of IPTV streams. Thats how pretty much everyone in Canada watched it.
Whoâs on the next MVP card?
Have we got the all of UFC viewer numbers yet? Because most countries UFC is on another platform
Jake Paul is a faggot.
Holly gave Ronda brain damage, thatâs why every time sheâs talked after that beating sheâs been saying nonsense. You could see the brain cells popping in real time after that KO.
Netflix has about 325 million subscribers.
Paramount + has about 80 milllion.
Brazil probably a few million watching Alex fight
Eddie Hall vs 25 midgets. Or something of the sort.
So 17 million US vs 17 million globally is something to brag about?

Netflix is packaged into some Verizon cell phone deals
Dude just lost a boxing match to Tommy Fury lol
